The tale of the Loch Ness monster has teased the imagination for decades, so the idea of a musical based on the creature seems like a winner right off the bat. Add in a scientist grieving the loss of his wife, a Scottish heiress hell-bent on proving the monster’s existence, and a spunky girl on a mission, and the result is a magical, mythic adventure with laugh-out-loud moments and a tender, G-rated heart.
